This past week has been kinda bitter sweet for me, considering that I started school again on Thursday (new semester, new classes!) but my sister, brother-in-law, and niece left for the other side of the country yesterday! I’ll start with the bitter part first, so that by the time I’m done writing this blog, I’ll hopefully be in a better mood.
My brother-in-law is in the military, and he just re-enlisted but instead of being stationed here like he was before, he got stationed in some base in California. California. That is on the exact opposite coast of the United States! I’m going to miss my brother-in-law a lot, but mostly my sister and niece (sorry Carter!). My sister and I are more than a couple of years apart, but now that I’m getting older, Brandie and I have been getting closer over the past couple of years, and now that shes leaving I’m going to really sad that shes gone. Lauren, my niece, is the most important influence in my life. She’s the single reason that I want to be a Neonatologist and she’s the single-most precious human on this earth to me, and now she’s going to live on the other side of the country. So, for the next four years, she’ll being living nowhere near me, and I won’t be able to see her that much. To Brandie and Carter: I love you both and I’ll miss you terribly.
On a more happy note, I started school again on Thursday and thanks to my school’s block schedule, I have all new classes! This semester I have: Flex Chorus (Flex is an optional 45 minute long class before 1st period), Honor’s English, Theatre Arts I, College Class (taken at my school’s computer lab), and Honor’s Geometry. I actually really love my 3rd period, because I 1) can take any lunch I want and 2) the teacher doesn’t care what we do online as long as we’re done with our stuff for that week. I really like my Honor’s classes because two of my really good friends, Lauren and Abby, from Teenworks are in them.
Now that I’m back in school, I really have the urge to just go out and do something with my friends after school or on the weekends. I can now see that I don’t need a girlfriend to have a good time, and that being friends is better than complicating things with a more deep relationship. Also, I can see that this site is getting kinda bland, so I’ll try to write more articles and maybe some poems. I have written a few songs, so maybe I’ll post those. Oh yeah! I just remembered; my good friend, Erin, is considering hosting me, so I may be moving to a subdomain (so I can finally code my own layouts) and if I do, I’m thinking about making graphics/resources again. They take up precious homework time, but maybe if I can prioritize, then I might not fail.
As you can see at the top of this blog, I started a new blog-ly thing, the featured site! I’ll write a featured site every time I blog, okay?

I’m sure everything will be okay though. You can keep in touch in many ways, and with today’s technology, video chat makes it seem like the person is actually there.
What college-level course are you taking this semester?
Jay’s site is awesome! His is a great site to feature, and he’s a great guy too.
